This morning, Gwyneth Paltrow appeared on Good Morning America to talk about her epic wedding and honeymoon life with her husband, Brad Falchuk. She also whipped up a healthy (and most likely detoxifying) Teriyaki chicken recipe that fans of the wellness guru across the country are likely trying to replicate at this very moment. Paltrow wore a purple T-shirt and pants by Genny, a sustainable fashion brand from Italy, for the taping, and was seen leaving the studio in one of her signature tailored double-breasted topcoats, though a flash of the brilliant purple shirt was peeking through.

Paltrow has long been a fan of the monochromatic look. The head-to-toe moss green ensemble—Donna Karan cardigan (with nothing underneath!) and a matching slip skirt—that she famously wore in Great Expectations in the late 1990s is social media fodder to this day. Just think about how many times you’ve seen that image regrammed! Last February, she pulled out an outfit that was almost identical to her famous movie moment, though this time she traded the skirt for a pair of cropped flares with a smart pleat down the middle and the barely fastened cardigan for a peasant blouse. The overall effect was refreshingly modern, much like her new her latest turn in purple. After all, who says sticking to one color has to be boring?
