Restorator Grandmaster Hamlet Matevosyan in Lebanon


Dear Art Lovers,

We are delighted to inform you of the arrival of  Restorator, Grandmaster Hamlet Matevosyan to Noah’s Ark Art Gallery on March 11, 2017. Mr. Matevosyan will be working at Noah’s Ark for the upcoming month, accepting orders of art-works that need to be restored (painting and icons). 

After receiving his early artistic education in Yerevan, Hamlet Matevosyan enrolled into the art-restoration Institute named after Igor Grabar in Moscow, where he graduated with the honorary title of Grandmaster.

After graduating, he has worked at:

– the Lvov National Gallery, Ukraine
– the Restoration center affiliated with the Louvre in Paris, France
– The Spinelli Institute for Art and Restoration in Florence, Italy

While working in Europe, he studied and acquired European methods of restoration, which he incorporated into his knowledge.

Since 1983, he works at the National Gallery of Armenia in Yerevan.
