Our F1 Insider expects Max Verstappen to continue his exceptional run of form by making the podium in the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen to finish on the podium at 11/8

Verstappen’s sublime victory in Mexico two weeks ago was the continuation of a rich run of form since the Canadian Grand Prix in June, a period in which he has has arguably been the most impressive driver on the grid. Of the last 11 races he has finished, eight have seen him on the rostrum, while one of the three exceptions was a stunning drive through the field to fifth after a grid penalty in Russia. The Dutchman looks fair value at 11/8 to once again be tasting champagne on the podium in Brazil.

Pierre Gasly to finish in the top six at 7/1

Honda bring their C-spec engine to Brazil for Toro Rosso after Gasly’s excellent drive to a points-paying 10th place from a penalised 20th on the grid in Mexico. The Japanese manufacturer say they are confident no further issues will arise with the power plant, but while scepticism is warranted the price on the Frenchman to take a top six finish this weekend is inviting enough regardless. Team-mate Brendon Hartley took a ninth-placed finished in Austin and Gasly qualified seventh at Suzuka before his Mexico heroics, so the pace in the car is there if a trouble-free weekend can be navigated.
