On Wednesday, UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman said that the situation in a number of regions in southeastern Ukraine is still worsening. Besides, it seems that the implementation of decisions on Ukraine, which were made at the four-sided meeting in Geneva, has come to a deadlock, he says.

This happened because the sides in the agreement are interpreting these decisions in different ways, Mr. Feltman believes. The empty rhetoric of some countries has only led to further escalation of tension, Jeffry Feltman said at an extra meeting of the UN Security council, which was devoted to the situation in Ukraine, Interfax reports.
