Russia is interested in Latin America becoming a powerful pillar of the international system, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a meeting with President Daniel Ortega.
“It is already clear that a unipolar world order has gone into the past, emerging multipolar world order,” Lavrov said. “Russia is interested in the fact that Latin America is becoming a powerful pillar of the international system.”
“We have a rich and full agenda of bilateral relations with Nicaragua,” the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said. “It will be very useful to have an overview of political action by relevant departments of the two countries.”
