Jane Fonda makes fans roar as she arrives in Nice wearing leopard print ahead of Cannes

SHE MIGHT be 76 but that’s not going to stop American fitness guru Jane Fonda from having fun.

The New York born actress was spotted arriving at Nice airport yesterday ahead of 67th Cannes Film Festival, this weekend.

Waving to fans as she arrived in Nice, Jane wasn’t difficult to spot as she strolled along with a huge entourage of young, tanned men.

The young-at-heart actress wore a leopard print coat and a similar printed scarf as she strolled through the airport – with black trousers and black trainers too.

In true Hollywood style she wore sunglasses as she touched down and waved to her fans – leaving her PA to carry her handbag.

And, although she’s held back the years brilliantly, Jane’s admitted she’s well aware of her age.

In a blog on her official website, which has since been removed, Jane wrote: “[I’ve been thinking], how come my tears are so close to the surface? And I’ve come to feel it has to do with age.

“I have become so wonderfully, terribly aware of time, of how little of it I have left; how much of it is behind me, and everything becomes so precious.”

The post, written in February earlier this year, was entitled “crying”.

But the 76-year-old added, in her blog: “With age, I am able to appreciate the beauty in small things more than when I was younger perhaps because I pay attention more.

“I feel myself becoming part of everything. I seem to be super sensitive to people’s joy and pain. I ache for unwanted children in the world, for polars bears, and elephants, and Monarch butterflies, and dolphins, gorillas and chimpanzees.”

Despite this, the star looked incredible as she stepped out in France yesterday with her Hollywood smile dazzling passers-by.

The film festival is set to kick off tomorrow and celebrate the world of movies and film until 25th May.
