SHE’S TAKEN a step away from the limelight of late, but Sophie Anderton arrived with a red hot bang at Wolford’s store launch, last night.
The 37-year-old model turned heads as she strolled up to the doors of the new hosiery shop in London wearing a vibrant pink dress and matching lipstick.
Beaming for the cameras, Sophie lapped up the attention as she posted in the street for pictures.
The hot pink dress was gathered around the waist and could;ve been very revealing had it not been for a slip covering up her décolletage. Stepping onto the pavement in pink crocodile skin stilettos, Sophie looked happy and healthy with a hearty tan.
And it’s no wonder the star is looked so radiant as she recently admitted she’s preparing to scale Mount Kilimanjaro on her anniversary of being five years clean from drugs.
Speaking to the Daily Star, she said: “I originally started getting into fitness in my mid-20s which kind of contradicted my lifestyle back in those days.
“But I was very skinny, all ribs and hip bones. It wasn’t attractive. Now I want to have my curves but I want to be very lean. I want to be toned, not muscular.”
Sophie’s been training hard using hot yoga and working out with a new fitness company to build up her strength. And it’s all going towards preparing her for the super-tough Kilimanjaro climb in the summer, which she is doing to raise money for the charity Action On Addiction.
She’s hoping her climb will help the charity fund a second rehab centre after seeing the work done by their first Hope House initiative in south London.
Sophie explains: “September 11 is my five-year birthday, five years clean, so I thought what better way to celebrate than to raise money for the charity?
“I’ve spoken to women at Hope House with very similar stories to mine who’ve come out after six months completely transformed.”
