HE stepped away from the limelight to direct his first ever film, but today Ryan Gosling was well and truly the centre of attention again.
The 33-year-old actor made his first public appearance in a while as he attended a photocall at the 67th Cannes Film Festival to promote his new film ‘Lost River’.
The ‘Drive’ star was joined by the likes of Christina Hendricks and Matt Smith as he posed for photos, but noticeably absent was his girlfriend, Eva Mendes, who also stars in the film.
However, the 40-year-old actress is rumoured to be walking the red carpet with her beau tonight at the film’s premiere.
So instead, Ryan spent this afternoon cosying up to ‘Mad Men’ star Christina, who showed off her curvaceous figure in an all black outfit.
The pretty redhead teamed a pair of cropped trousers with a flared blazer and black heels as she cuddled up to the Hollywood heartthrob.
Ryan looked cool but smart in a pair of brown trousers, matching shoes and a pale blue shirt as he smouldered for the cameras whilst always keeping one hand in his pocket.
Meanwhile, former ‘Doctor Who’ star Matt wore a pair of rolled up navy blue chinos with a blue cotton shirt and a double breasted check wool blazer by Thom Sweeney.
The trio were joined by Reda Kateb and Iain De Caestecker – who also star in the upcoming fantasy-neo-noir film.
The movie tells the story of a single mother who is swept into a dark underworld, while her teenage son discovers a road that leads him to a secret underwater town.
The film is expected to be released in the UK later this year.
