Apple may start selling new iPhones in September – Bloomberg

The US company Apple may start selling two new smartphone makes ‘iPhone’ with larger screens already in September, the Bloomberg agency reported on Tuesday, while Apple itself gives no comment of this information. According to Bloomberg, Chinese suppliers of Apple are to start mass production of new iPhones in July.

The first make will have a display with a diagonal of 4.7 inches and the second one with a diagonal of 5.5 inches. The latest Apple smartphones iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C put on the market in September last year have a diagonal of 4 inches, reports TASS.

The technical specifications of the specialties are not disclosed but the agency informs that they will have a more rounded shape and will be thinner than their predecessors. Bloomberg points out that the manufacture of the 5.5-inch make involves slightly greater difficulties than the manufacture of the smaller one. For this reason, at the first stage the supply package of the larger iPhone will be limited.

Bloomberg points out that Apple’s decision to make an iPhone with a larger screen is a response to a growing competition from Asian manufacturers. The latest South Korean Samsung smartphone Galaxy S5 has a display with a diagonal of 5.1 inches and the Taiwan HTC new One M8 smartphone – of 5 inches.
