Israeli drone strike on Gaza Strip: one killed and three injured

One Palestinian radical was killed and three were injured today as a result of Israeli air strike on Gaza Strip. As reported by the Palestinian media, the drone attacked a radical group in Khan Yunes city in the south of the coastal enclave, reports ITAR-TASS.

According to preliminary data, the victim was an activist of “Brigades of İzzeddin al-Qassam” – a fighting unit of Hamas, which controls Gaza. The Israeli army has confirmed the air raid, stating that its goal was “terrorists” who prepared the missile launches.

Earlier yesterday, Palestinian radicals hit the territory of Israel with six missiles sent from Gaza territory. As the Israeli newspaper “Yediot Aharonot” informed, four of them had exploded on wasteland in the residential areas Netivot and Be’er Sheva, as well as Negev desert without causing any harm. Another two had been intercepted by the missile defense system “Iron Dome”.

A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip on Saturday hit an industrial zone in Sderot in southern Israel, setting a building on fire but without causing casualties, police said. Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told AFP a second rocket struck an open ground. A military spokesman said the building hit was a factory, and that firemen were on the scene.
