Champions Juventus are still without a Serie A victory this season after Paulo Dybala’s late penalty salvaged a 1-1 draw against leaders Chievo.
Juventus were staring down the barrel of a third consecutive league defeat when Perparim Hetemaj gave the visitors a fifth-minute lead.
But Dybala, a summer signing from Palermo, netted seven minutes from time from the spot to secure a point, which leaves Juventus 16th in the table, with Chievo level with Roma at the top.
Roma were 2-0 winners in the first-ever derby clash against bottom-side Frosinone at the Stadio Matusa.
Iago Falque’s goal late in the first half and a last-gasp Juan Iturbe strike saw Rudi Garcia’s men see off the newcomers.
Khouma Babacar scored the only goal as 10-man Fiorentina beat Genoa 1-0, heading in Borja Valero’s corner on the hour mark.
Fiorentina held on for victory despite having to play the final 27 minutes with 10 men after Milan Badelj was shown a second yellow card.
