Tensions continued to boil up Tuesday with a terror attack in central Israel leaving one Israeli lightly wounded from a stab wound to the chest.
The alleged attacker was identified by police as 22-year-old Palestinian from East Jerusalem. According to the police, he stabbed one person before being subdued by citizens who held him down until the police arrived.
According to the police, at 8:50 A.M. they receiving an alert regarding a stabbing in Ra’anana’s main artery, and massive police forces were sent to the arena.
According to the spokesperson for the city of Ra’anana, the suspected attacker stabbed one person at a bus station not far from town hall before citizens jumped on him and pushed the knife out of his hand. The alleged attacker sustained serious injuries and it was possible he was shot during attempts to disarm him.

According to witnesses, the police surrounded the wounded terrorist, protecting him from crowd until they could get him into ambulance. As they took him out in a stretcher, the angry crowd tried to get to him, but was restrained back the police. As the ambulance pulled away, one woman yelled “Take him straight to the cemetery, forget the hospital!”
A 32-year-old Israel was lightly wounded in the attack, sustaining a knife wound to the chest and was taken to a local hospital.
