Ben Affleck was seen rolling around in a 1920’s convertible on the Georgia set of “Live by Night” Monday.
The Daily Mail has the pics. Affleck, in the film — which he’s directing — plays a prohibition-era bootlegger. Sienna Miller also stars.
Affleck’s estranged wife Jennifer Garner, meanwhile, is back in Tinseltown taking care of the couple’s three kids: Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3. Affleck and Garner, despite announcing their divorce in June, reportedly believe there is still hope for their marriage. According to a Hollywood Life insider, “They are trying to make things work, but it’s really tough. They have been back and forth for years on this subject. There is still love there that they are trying to figure out. The kids are the great equalizer that they want to stay together for, so it’s a daily battle to see if it will work out. It is 50/50 at best.”
“Jen is interested in saving her marriage for her kids, but is not interested in having more kids,” the source dished. “She is taking it day by day and Ben has really been a changed man of late, so it might just work out now that the dust has cleared.”
Affleck and Garner are still in couple’s therapy, sources say. At a recent counseling session, Affleck “sat [Garner] down and apologized for everything he’s put her through over the years,” an insider told Star magazine (via the Hollywood Gossip). “He acknowledged that she’s always had to deal with the fallout of his selfishness, and he promised to try harder to be a better man.”
Affleck’s rumored “transgressions” include an alleged affair with his children’s former nanny Christine Ouzounian, who the “Batman” star has reportedly “cut ties” with.
“He told Christine he couldn’t handle another relationship when things were still so painful and raw between him and Jen,” a source told Life & Style.
“Live by Night” hits theaters in 2017.
