Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Amy Schumer redefined #SquadGoals with an SNL parody of Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’

You knew something special was going to happen during Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s much-anticipated return to the Saturday Night Live stage, and they didn’t disappoint.

The duo, sporting badass leather get-ups, awesomely redefined #SquadGoals with a wonderful parody of Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ video.

It started when a reporter (SNL‘s Aidy Bryant) asked the stars that common question, “How do you juggle it all?”.

Fey and Poehler quickly responded by launching into Swift’s jam and introducing their own ‘Dope Squad’.

Unlike Swift’s squad though, there were no pop stars or Victoria’s Secret models in this version. Instead, it was an ode to the most important women in their lives.

“It takes a village, yo. We got the best ladies,” Fey and Poehler sang as they named their most helpful real-life acquaintances, like the soup lady who always remembers their order at the local diner, their nannies, and their gynaecologist (yes, apparently they have the same gynaecologist).

Still, the duo also made sure to point out they’re not totally “down-to-earth”, including a couple of high-profile celeb cameos, like Oprah’s bestie Gayle King and comedian pal Amy Schumer, who offered her best “post-apocalytpic slow motion walk”.

Yep, that’s a pretty wonderful #GirlSquad.

Earlier during their hosting gig, the duo also reprised a couple of their most infamous celebrity impressions – Amy Poehler’s Hillary Clinton and Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin – alongside SNL‘s current resident Hillary impersonator Kate McKinnon, for a Scrooge-inspired Christmas skit.

Why don’t these guys just have their own weekly show already?
