Leslie Jones’ Twitter coverage of the Olympics is already a major highlight of the Games, but get ready because the Ghostbusters star and Team USA’s biggest fan just touched down in Rio to commence her official NBC role.
And the American athletes could not be more pumped about it.
Jones already pretty much made BFFs with volleyball players Kerri Walsh Jennings on her trip down.
But the comedian-turned-commentator’s first stop was the women’s gymnastics final, where she proved a good luck charm for the USA team who won gold and silver. (OK, Simone Biles probably didn’t need the luck, but still!)
There is just something about Jones’ infectious enthusiasm that *almost* gets you rootin’ along with her for the Americans.
