Dominika Cibulkova beat Viktorija Golubic to win the title in Linz – and book the last place in the WTA Finals.
Dominika Cibulkova claimed her third title of the season and seventh in all by beating her Swiss foe 6-3 7-5 in the final of the Generali Ladies tournament on Sunday.
The victory earned the 10th-ranked Slovak a place at the season-ending WTA Finals in Singapore for the first time in her career.
Cibulkova, the second seed in Austria, also won in Katowice in April and Eastbourne in June.
The 27-year-old avoided break points to take the opening set but dropped her serve while leading 3-1 in the second and was then forced to save four Golubic set points at 5-4.
Madison Keys and Garbine Muguruza also booked their WTA Finals spots during the week in Linz.
The other five qualifiers are Angelique Kerber, Serena Williams, Simona Halep, Agnieszka Radwanska and Karolina Pliskova.
Briton Johanna Konta is currently the first alternate should anyone drop out.
She saw her hopes scuppered by an abdominal injury in Hong Kong earlier this week but could yet play should Williams, who has not played since the US Open due to an elbow problem, opt out.
Muguruza had also been a doubt after twisting her ankle in Linz on Friday but she said at the weekend that the injury was not as bad as many feared and would not prevent her heading to Singapore.
