Syrian Army prepares to storm key towns in northern Hama

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is planning to resume their large-scale counter-offensive in the northern Hama countryside in the coming hours, after a brief stopage of military operations by the High Command.

Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army is preparing to storm the key towns of Taybat Al-Imam and Souran in the northern Hama countryside.

According to a military source in Hama, the Syrian Armed Forces are at the outskirts of Souran after clearing most of the territory near the villages of Kawkab and Ma’ardes.

If the Syrian Armed Forces are successful in this military endeavor, they will be in position to strike the imperative town of Helfaya, which was captured by Jund Al-Aqsa (Al-Qaeda franchise) during the first week of their offensive against the government.
