It’s been 27 long years since Terminator 2: Judgement Day but the original Sarah Connor and the T-800 have finally reunited.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton haven’t tagged up on-screen together since the 1991 action classic, which was a sequel to the original The Terminator from 1984.
But now the two are back together in the time-travelling sci-fi franchise with Terminator 6, and they’ve snapped a pic together on set for proof.
71-year-old Arnie and 62-year-old Linda have been filming Terminator 6 together since June. The action star posted a new pic of them alongside a vintage snap of them filming The Terminator 34 years ago.
‘Happy birthday to my dear friend Linda Hamilton’, the former governor of California posted.
‘One of my favorite co-stars, a true badass, and a wonderful human being. I’m pumped to be back together again.’
Linda was first spotted back in the role of Sarah Connor by fans when she was filming in Spain.
The movie will be a direct sequel to Terminator 2, ignoring the three films released since then. James Cameron, who directed the first two films, is back to produce Terminator 6.
The franchise was last on the silver screen back in 2015 with Terminator: Genysis, where Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke took on role of Sarah Connor.
Arnie has successfully recovered from open heart surgery and will be returning to his old role when the film releases next November.
