Daughter of ethnic Armenian businessman is among top 100 young economic leaders of Russia

YEREVAN, April 16. /ARKA/. Tatevik Karapetyan, the daughter of Russia-based ethnic Armenian tycoon Samvel Karapetyan, one of the richest people in Russia, was placed in the list of the top 100 young economic leaders of Russia.

The rating was compiled by the French independent analytical center Institut Choiseul as part of «Choiseul 100 Russia” project, RBC reported. Tatevik Karapetyan, 28, is the first vice-president of the Tashir group of companies (real estate and construction).

The rating also includes two other ethnic Armenians- the Rector of the Synergy business school Grigory Avetov (education) and director of the Center for Promising Business Directions of Sberbank Andrei Kartashyan (finance).

The project chooses the brightest and most talented representatives of the modern generation up to 40 years old, whose potential contributes to the modernization of the country’s economy. The Russian list of the top 100 is essentially a continuation of the French annual rating of Choiseul 100 France, compiled since 2013.
