YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. Armenian and Russian leaders will meet on May 29 on the sidelines of a session of the Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Union, Chairperson of Federal Council of Russia Valentina Matviyenko said Friday as she met with Armenian National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan, TASS reports.
“Our countries’ leaders have met seven times in the past year and they are constantly in touch with each other,” she said. “They will meet on May 29 on the sidelines of the session of the Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Union, which will be held in Kazakhstan.”
Matviyenko said that the same event will be held also on October 1 in Yerevan and the countries’ leaders will have a chance to meet again.
Besides, she said, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will travel to Armenia for a working visit.
