Erdoğan, Trump hold phone call

In a phone call on April 29, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and U.S. President Donald Trump discuss a proposal for the working group on S-400 Russian air defense system, according to a statement by the Turkish presidency.

Turkish, U.S. presidents also discussed developments in Syria and agreed to pursue cooperation in counter-terrorism, the statement also said.

In addition, the presidents exchanged views on bilateral and regional issues and reiterated their aim to reach a $75 billion trade volume.
