YEREVAN, May 23. /ARKA/. At the end of April 2019, Armenia’s overall public debt stood at $6.899.4 billion, having decreased by $34.7 million or 0.5% from the previous month, according to the Ministry of Finance.
It said the government-owed debt stood at $6.355.9 billion, a decline of $33.6 million from the previous month. The external debt stood at $4.919.4 billion, a decline of $24.1 million, and the domestic debt stood at $1.436.5 billion, a decline of $9.4 million.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank’s debt at the end of April stood at $543.5 million, a decline of $1.2 million.
