YEREVAN, November 6. /ARKA/. Abraham Khashmanyan has been appointed today as head coach of the Armenian national football team, the Football Federation of Armenia said. It said his contract is effective until November 30, 2020.
The president of the Football Federation of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan said he chose Khashmanyan who is one of the most experienced coaches in Armenia.
‘I wish him good luck. This year the Armenian team had several impressive victories. I hope that our team, under the leadership of the new coach, will delight the fans,” Vanetsyan said.
Khashmanyan is replacing Armen Gyulbudagyants who resigned after a series of defeats at the qualifying stage of the European Championship 2020.
