Armenia’s state audit office exposes 2.1 billion drams worth abuses

YEREVAN, December 11. /ARKA/. Armenia’s State Audit Office exposed 2.1 billion drams worth abuses after inspecting the Jrar company’s performance in 2014-2018.

The company is an affiliation of the Water Committee of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures.

The list of abuses include unreasonable expenses for preparations for the spring season, written-off but not paid salaries, unreasonable water and electricity costs, excessive financial expenses as a result of inefficient management, as well as unaccounted water supply from the Aparan water reservoir, violations of the law On Procurement, etc. ($1 – 478.02 drams) .
