Armenia’s consumer prices in the first 11 months of 2019 were up by 1.5% year-on-year

YEREVAN, December 25. /ARKA/. Armenia’s consumer prices in the first 11 months of 2019 increased by 1.5% compared to the same period of 2018, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said.

It said also when compared to November 2018, consumer prices in November 2019 were up by 1%. Compared to October 2019 the consumer prices index in 2019 November was up by 1.1 %.

According to the NSC, prices of non-food goods increased by 0.4% year-on-year. But when compared to 2018 November they were down by 0.6%, and up by 0.5% when compared to October 2018.

NSC said also that electricity production in January-November decreased by 3.4% 6.867.1 billion kWh.

Electricity production in 2019 November when compared to November 2018 was down by 9.3%, and compared with October 2018 it was up by 1.7%. The government’s projection for GDP growth, envisaged by the budget is 4.9%. ($1 – 479.15 drams). ($1 – 479.15 drams).
