Armenia’s foreign trade in 11 months of 2019 up 7.4 percent to about $7.231.7 billion

YEREVAN, December 25. /ARKA/. Armenia’s foreign trade turnover in the first 11 months of 2019 amounted to about $7.231.7 billion, a 7.4% growth compared to the same time span of 2018, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).

The NSC said the foreign trade in November 2019 was up by 14.2% when compared to the same period in 2018 and compared to October 2019 it was up by 4.7%. In January-November 2019, the volume of foreign trade turnover in Armenian drams amounted to 3.471.8 trillion.

According to NSC, Armenia’s exports in the first 11 months of 2019 grew by 9% compared to the same period in 2018, amounting to $2.401.7 billion. In November 2019, compared with November 2018, they increased by 25.7%, and compared with October 2019 they were down by 8.5%. The 11-month exports in drams stood at 1.153.0 trillion.

Imports in the reporting period of time amounted to $4.830.0 billion, an increase of 6.6% compared with January-November 2018. In November 2019, compared with November 2018, imports grew by 9.6%, and compared with October 2019 – by 3.1%. The 11-month imports in drams stood at 2. 318.8 trillion. ($1 – 479.15 drams).
