Armenia’s Zvartnots airport handles more than 3 million passengers in 2019


YEREVAN, December 30, /ARKA/ Armenia International Airports, a company running Armenia’s Zvartnots airport in the capital Yerevan and Shirak airport in the second-largest town of Gyumri, said in a news release that today, on the 30th of December, 2019, the number of passengers it has handled at Zvartnots airport has exceeded 3 million.

On this occasion, all the passengers arriving from Moscow to Yerevan were given small gifts. The airport said also that in 2018 the passenger flow through the Zvartnots airport was 2,690,727 people.

The Armenia International Airports CJSC is run by the Argentinean American International Airports, owned by Eduardo Eurnekian, a citizen of Argentina of Armenian descent.
