Armenian SRC has its staff cut by 400 people

YEREVAN, January 13. /ARKA/. As part of a plan of actions designed to streamline the operation of Armenia’s State Revenue Committee (SRC), it has its staff reduced by almost 400 people last year, the head of agency, David Ananyan, told a news conference today.

He said last year some 967 employees left the SRC and another 600 people were hired. According to Ananyan, last year the SRC spent 5.8 billion drams to pay bonuses to its employees, by 800 million drams more than in 2018.

He said the public at large did not react to it angrily because of getting to realize that people who make important decisions should be paid decent salaries. ($1– 479.36 drams).
