YEREVAN, February 18. /ARKA/. Russia will allocate USD 2.8 million for development of Armenia’s two provinces as part of its UNDP activity, Advisor at the Russian Embassy Dmitry Stepanov told TASS on Friday.
He said that Russia attaches great importance to the UNDP projects being implemented in Armenia and with financial assistance from Russia.
In his words, the new project “Support for Inclusive Economic Development in Border Areas” will be implemented in Armenia’s Gegharkunik and Vayots Dzor provinces.
The cabinet ministers decided to allocate the mentioned financial means from the Russia-UNDP fund. The Russian diplomat said that the project will be launched in March 2020.
