YEREVAN, March 10. /ARKA/. In January 2020, 824 real estate rental transactions were completed in Armenia, the Cadastre Committee of Armenia reported on Monday. Compared to January 2019, the number of transactions increased by 70.2%.
At the reporting period, the largest number of transactions was registered in Yerevan – 62.9% of the total, and the smallest – in Aragatsotn region – 1.9%.
According to the report, 7.3% of the total number of transactions were registered in the Shirak province, 4.6% in Ararat province, 4.1% in Gegharkunik, 4% in Syunik, 3.6% in Kotayk, 3. 3% in Lori, 3.2% in Tavush, 2.9% in Armavir and 2.2% in Vayots Dzor.
Of the total number of real estate rental transactions, 22% are related to apartments, 9.8% to private residential buildings, 14.9% to land, 39.7% to buildings of public importance, 5.5% to buildings of industrial value and 8.1% to garages.
