27 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Lebanon

BEIRUT: The Ministry of Public Health reported 27 new cases of coronavirus in Lebanon, increasing the total number of cases to 575 as of April 8. 11 of the cases reported are individuals who returned to Lebanon from abroad.

The number of deaths resulting from the virus remains constant at 19, with two new recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries up to 62. Patients who are in critical condition are 29.

587 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Lebanon during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of tests conducted to 10,808.
