Eight new COVID-19 cases in Lebanon

BEIRUT: The Ministry of Health announced that the total number of coronavirus cases in Lebanon reached 878 with eight new coronavirus cases recorded on Wednesday.

Beirut and El Meten lead the pack as the two districts with the biggest number of cases, while the number of death cases recorded remained stable at 26. Among the registered cases, 63.03 % were considered as mild, 29.34% as asymptomatic, and 7.63% as critical.

Wednesday evening is when the country is set to go into a four-day lockdown after the past few days have seen a resurgence of the novel virus.
