Turkey on Sunday arrested 34 suspects accused of belonging to an international crime ring in the country’s largest anti-narcotics operation to date, state-run Anadolu news agency reported.

Conducted in collaboration with nine countries, the operation led to the initial detentions of 74 suspects, 70 million Turkish liras ($10 million) seized and 281 properties confiscated, it said, citing the Interior Ministry.

The criminal group has two kingpins, one of who is wanted on an Interpol red notice, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said.

The individuals are accused of drug trafficking and other illegal activities in Turkey, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, England, Spain, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, among others, Anadolu said.

Ankara prosecutors issued arrest warrants for the suspects in 11 Turkish provinces – including Ankara, Antalya, Aydin, Bursa, and Diyarbakir, it said.
