Qatar Airways is continuing to rebuild its US network following Covid-19, and will offer 56 weekly flights to the country by mid-September.

The Gulf carrier is currently flying to six US destinations, and will increase this to eight with the resumption of three weekly flights to Houston on September 2 and four flights per week to Philadelphia on September 15.

The airline will also move to a doubly daily service on its New York JFK route from September 1, and ahead of that will increase the frequency of its Los Angeles route to daily from August 12.

Aside from the four cities detailed above, Qatar Airways is also currently flying to Boston, Chicago, Dallas and Washington DC.

Earlier this year the Gulf carrier relaunched a codeshare agreement with American Airlines, and by mid-September customers will be able to travel on onward services to over 200 destinations on more than 850 flights, as well as a further 55 destinations and 150 flights with an existing Jetblue agreement.

This week Qatar Airways also announced plans to resume service to Adelaide from August 16, bringing its Australian network to five destinations (Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney) and 23 weekly flights.
