Armenia’s foreign trade turnover shrinks 11.3% to about $ 3,738.73 million in Jan-July 2020

YEREVAN, August 26. /ARKA/. Armenia’s foreign trade turnover amounted to about $ 3,738.73 million in January-July 2020, which is 11.3% less than in the same period of 2019, the National Statistical Committee reports.

In July 2020, compared to June 2020, this indicator increased by 2.4%, and compared to July 2019, it decreased by 14.3%. In January-July 2020, the foreign trade turnover in drams amounted to 1 806.9 billion drams.

Exports from Armenia in January-July 2020 decreased by 6.4%, compared to the same period in 2019, and totaled $ 1,333.7 million. In July 2020, compared to June 2020, they increased 1.5%, and compared to July 2019 – decreased by 5.9%. In AMD equivalent, exported totaled to 644.6 billion drams in January-July.

Imports for the reporting period totaled $ 2,405.0 million, down 13.7% compared to January-July 2019.
In July 2020, compared to June 2020, imports increased by 2.9%, and compared to July 2019, they decreased by 18.6%. In drams, imports for January-July 2020 amounted to 1,162.3 billion drams. ($ 1 – AMD 485.25).
