Nearly 30 fires broke out in the Gaza Envelope region on Tuesday due to the continued launching of incendiary balloons.
The current wave of balloon terrorism has been going on for several weeks now, with Israeli airstrikes failing to significantly deter further launches. Other methods of deterrence have been employed as well, such as shutting off the flow of goods and supplies into the Strip through various border crossings with Israel, as well as preventing Gazan fishermen from fishing.
