YEREVAN, August 27. /ARKA/. Armenia came 87th in the ranking of average salaries, according to a study by Picodi analysts. According to the study, the average salary in Armenia is $ 333. Azerbaijan is 86th in the ranking ($ 335) and Georgia 96th ($ 284). Among other post-Soviet countries, Estonia is 35th ($ 1,311), Lithuania 42nd ($ 958), Latvia 44th ($ 908), Russia 68th ($ 460), Kazakhstan 73rd ($ 437), Belarus 75th ($ 416), Ukraine 81st ($ 350) and Uzbekistan 99th ($ 237).
Switzerland is topping the ranking of 106 countries, where the average monthly wage in dollars is $ 5,989. Luxembourg and the United States came second and third in the ranking. Their residents, on average, earn $ 4,014 and $ 3,534, respectively.
Cuba, Uganda and Nigeria are at the bottom of the rating with salaries ranging from $ 36 to $ 184.
Recently, the prime minister of Armenia said that in July 2019 the average salary per one job was 193,955 drams, and in June 2020 198,335 drams, while in July 2020 this figure was already 207,795 drams. ($ 1 – 487.17).
