Deputy foreign minister Shavarsh Kocharyan resigns


YEREVAN, November 18. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan was relieved of his post. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed the corresponding decision on Tuesday.

Shavarsh Kocharyan was appointed to the post on June 8, 2018.

Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan resigned from his post on Monday. His resignation was announced by his spokeswoman, Anna Naghdalyan, who posted his handwritten resignation letter on Facebook shortly after Pashinyan said in parliament he decided to dismiss Mnatsakanyan.

On Monday evening, President Armen Sarkissian signed a decree relieving Mnatsakanyan of his duties.
