People registered in Artsakh communities no longer under Armenian control to get one-time AMD 300,000 assistance

56 citizens who are registered in the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) communities that are no longer under Armenian control will receive a one-time monetary assistance of 300,000 drams, according to the government of Armenia.

This payment shall be given to each member of such families.

To benefit from this program, these citizens must submit an e-application to the online application system of the Social Security Service.

On November 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement on a complete cessation of hostilities— which Azerbaijan had launched on September 27—in and around Artsakh. Accordingly, Russian peacekeepers are deployed in the region to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire and the cessation of hostilities. But this statement also stipulates the handover of part of Artsakh lands to Azerbaijan.
