Royal expert Angela Levin has asked why the Royal Family would even consider talking to Meghan and Harry

Queen Elizabeth II and her family have been urged to quit even talking to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry given the couple’s supposedly obsessed penchant for attention, Express reports.

Meghan Markle’s most recent offense in the attention-obsession category is the apparent fact that she leaked to the media that she had sent a wreath to commemorate the death of the Queen’s husband, Prince Philip. Royal watchers were horrified that even thousands of miles away in California — the duchess didn’t fly with Prince Harry to the funeral due to her advanced pregnancy — the duchess was still finding ways to pull focus.

Royal expert Angela Levin, for one, is in no mood for charity where Meghan Markle is concerned, and has insisted that the Queen and her family would be crazy to keep talking with her and Harry given their attention-obsessed penchant for leaking conversations with the royal family to the media.

“I think the Royal Family would be crazy to talk to Meghan and Harry,” Levin said.

“In no time it would be out in magazines and on social media.”

“Whenever anything happens to them, big or small, they have to tell the world,” Levin said of the Queen’s grandson and Meghan Markle, slamming their obsession with running to the media.

“They are obsessed with global,” Levin continued in her excoriation of Meghan Markle and Harry, the king and queen of publicity as far as she’s concerned. “People don’t need to know exactly what they’re doing.”

Levin also blasted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as Meghan and Harry are known, as hypocrites for claiming to want privacy, whereas “that’s the last thing they want.”

The Sun reports that since Meghan and Harry quit royal life, Buckingham Palace is “a lot calmer.”

Now a source has claimed that behind the scenes has been “a lot simpler” without her and Harry.

A source told the Daily Mirror, “One of the main issues with Harry and Meghan when they were part of the working family was their inability to understand how things worked.”

“It’s been a lot simpler without them kicking off over why they couldn’t just do what they wanted.”

Express reports that the publicity obsessed Meghan Markle and Harry have caused so much hurt and damage to the Queen and her descendants by their Oprah Winfrey interview that there is still a huge amount of anger toward them for trashing the royal family on TV.

“No one should underestimate the damage done by that Oprah interview,” an insider said of how Meghan Markle and Harry’s obsession with calling out the Queen’s family has left a trail of destruction.

“The fact of them leaving is sad but wouldn’t have been such a problem had they gone about it in a different way.”

“The interview was disgraceful on so many fronts,” the insider continued. “Not just what Harry – and Meghan – said about their own family. But also the way in which they attacked every decent person who had worked for them and tried to support them.”

As for how the Queen and her family are dealing with Meghan Markle and Harry’s Oprah interview and the public’s obsession with it, the insider stated:  “There is a lot of anger about that. It is all so sad but also very damaging.”

The insider insisted that there is still a long way to go before the rift between Harry and his family can be healed.

The Daily Mail reports that now that Meghan Markle and Harry have been cut out of the royal loop and the public’s obsession with them has died down a bit, the Queen is expected to lean more on Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex as her “secret weapons” to keep the royal family in the public’s good graces.

Writing for Town & Country, royal journalist and author Victoria Murphy told how Sophie, wife of Prince Edward, the Queen’s youngest son, has become a stalwart member of the royal family thanks to her down to earth nature and quietly assured approach to her royal duties.
