After a night of quiet, Hamas renewed its rocket fire with a fresh barrage towards the Gaza border communities and the Negev area early on Tuesday morning.

Other than that, the only exchange of fire to occur during the night was on the Israeli-Lebanese border, when six rockets were launched from southern Lebanon towards Israel, landing in Lebanese territory, leading to an IDF retaliation.

Israeli warships attacked targets off the coast of the Gaza Strip early Tuesday morning, Maariv reported, citing Palestinian sources.

At the same time, reports have come in of a series of Israeli airstrikes in the Strip, according to N12. Al-Jazeera said that during the night, about 30 airstrikes were carried out by Israel in the Gaza Strip.

Other Palestinian sources claimed more than 60 airstrikes were carried out in addition to naval attacks near near the shores of Rafah and Khan Yunis, Walla news reported.

Additionally, N12 said that according to the Palestinian sources, Israeli planes bombed buildings near Al-Qatiba Square in the western region of the Strip late Monday night.

According to Gaza health officials, the Palestinian death toll stands at 212. 10 Israelis have been killed from rocket attacks so far.
