The relics were transported from Venice under the watchful eye of caretaker Foreign Minster Gebran Bassil who welcomed them at Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International airport.
BEIRUT: The relics of Saint Marina, also known as Marina the Monk, returned to the famous Qadisha Valley where they will be displayed until July 23.
Saint Marina is one of the first Christian Saints who lived in Lebanon in the 5th century, disguised herself as a man to live as a monk in Bekaa’s Qadisha Valley.
