YEREVAN, June 13. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the government has held several consultations with representatives of airports and airlines to identify why air ticket prices are too high.
“We are dealing with this problem, as it directly affects the tourism industry. I hope that we will reach certain decisions on this issue,” he said in response to a question from a citizen during a live Facebook video.
He said the government received information about some suspicious schemes and mechanisms that may be connected with the high price of air tickets. I completely share the citizens’ concerns about expensive tickets,” he said.
