YEREVAN, January 25. /ARKA/. An Armenian delegation headed by Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan that visited Iran last weekend, had a series of meetings with Iranian ministers and officials and visited also several Iranian enterprises.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Kerobyan met with Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of the Islamic Republic Alireza Razmhosseini and Chairman of the Central Bank of Iran Abdolnasser Hemmati.
Following the meeting, a memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Economy of Armenia and the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran.
The Armenian delegation visited the industrial plant Mammut, which manufactures cars, trailers and prefabricated structures and the pharmaceutical company CinnaGen, engaged in production and export of biosimilars, laboratory reagents and recombinant proteins.
On Sunday, the Armenian delegation held a number of meetings in Isfahan, including Governor Abbas Rezai, representatives of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, and other representatives of business circles, including ethnic Armenian entrepreneurs.
A wide range of issues related to the increase in bilateral trade, the implementation of investment programs, cooperation in industry, tourism and other fields were discussed.
In Isfahan, the Armenian delegation visited Zarin Iran factory, producing crystals, food producer company Chika and Goltash plant producing detergents and finishing materials.
The Armenian delegation also visited the Armenian Temple of the Savior and the museum in New Julfa.
