YEREVAN, February 11. /ARKA/. The Armenian Parliament has passed today in the first reading a set of amendments and additions to the law on public trading, which would enable conducting trading on electronic platforms. The proposed changes were backed by 93 deputies , 6 voted against and 13 abstained.
MP from the My Step alliance Tsovinar Vardanyan said trading on electronic platforms is a widespread phenomenon in all developed countries.
“The changes when approved in the final reading will create a fairly large market and opportunities for both electronic platforms and participants of trading,” she said.
Another My Step MP Artak Manukyan, said that such financial platforms should be used as widely as possible, including the government.
