YEREVAN, September 29. /ARKA/. From the early morning of September 29, the Azerbaijani side resumed large-scale attacks along almost the entire length of the defense line in Artsakh, Shushan Stepanyan, press secretary of the Armenian defense ministry, reported on her Facebook page. In particular, heavy artillery systems TOS-1A are used during offensive actions in certain directions.
“The use of TOS, Smerch and other large-caliber systems changes the logic and scale of military operations, bringing them to a new level. In this regard, the ministry of defense warns that the Armenian Armed Forces are forced to use types of weapons and military equipment that have large-scale fire damage and, as a result, have a large destructive impact on manpower, movable and immovable property,” she wrote on her page.
According to Stepanyan, at the moment the units of the Defense Army are confidently foiling the enemy’s all attempts to attack, causing heavy losses in manpower and equipment.
