http://arka.am/-YEREVAN, February 12. /ARKA/. The Armenian Defense Ministry denied today allegations spread in social networks and some media outlets that the ministry ordered to dismantle the so-called “Corners of Glory” in military units.
“In the last two days some media and social network users have been spreading distorted, false information that the ‘Corners of Glory’ in the military units of the Ministry of Defense are being dismantled, and the photos of hero soldiers are being removed and will no longer be displayed,” the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, the relevant structural unit of the General Staff of the Armed Forces is carrying out current repairs of information and leisure rooms in all military units, including printed materials, as they wear out over time.
