YEREVAN, May 18. /ARKA/. As of 11:00 on Sunday, May 17, there were 1,925 recovered COVID-19 patients in Armenia, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention says in its daily report. In total, 4,472 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 60 deaths have been reported in the country. This means that 189 new infection cases and five deaths have been recorded since yesterday’s report.
The center reports that 24 coronavirus-positive people died from other diseases.
According to the center, 40,230 tests for the coronavirus have been carried out in Armenia. Some 2,463 COVID-19 patients are being treated now.
The state of emergency, introduced in Armenia on March 16, 2020 and extended to May 14, is again extended until 17:00 on June 13 inclusive. –0—
