YEREVAN, February 26. /ARKA/. Armenia’s foreign trade turnover in January 2021 stood at $403.9 million, which was 16.8% lower than the numbers for the same month in 2020, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).
In January 2021, compared to December 2020, the foreign trade was down 46%. In Armenia’s national currency, the foreign trade turnover in January 2021 amounted to 210.6 billion drams.
Armenian exports in January 2021 compared to January 2020 decreased by 11.3% to $156.6 million. Compared to December 2020, they were down 39.5%. In Armenian drams, exports in January 2021 amounted to 81.6 billion drams.
Imports slashed by 20% to $247.3 million. Compared to December 2020, imports decreased by 49.4%. In AMD equivalent, imports in January 2021 amounted to 129.0 billion drams. ($1 – 525.76 drams). -0-
