YEREVAN, Nov. 25. /ARKA/. Armenia’s foreign trade in January-October 2021 grew by 13.6% compared to the same period of 2020 to $6.537.2 billion, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said today
According to official figures, in October 2021, compared to October 2020 the foreign trade turnover was up 24.1%. It was also up 12.5% compared to September 2021. In Armenian national currency the ten-month foreign trade was worth 3.310 trillion drams.
Armenian exports in January-October 2021 grew by 16.9% to $2.410.6 billion compared to January-October 2020. In October 2021, exports were up 14.7% compared to October 2020, and up 16.7% compared to September 2021. Calculated in drams, exports stood at 1.222.6 trillion.
Imports during the reporting period amounted to $4.126.6 billion, registering an 11.8% increase compared to January-October 2020. In October 2021, imports rose by 29.4% compared to October 2020 and by 10.5% compared to September 2021.
In dram equivalent, imports amounted to 2.087.7 trillion drams. ($1 – 480.22 drams).
